Plainclean
The honest photo cleaner for iPhone. En español
Plainclean finds the photos you probably don't need — near-identical shots, blurry and dark ones, old screenshots and big videos — and shows how much space each pile really takes. You choose what goes. One confirm from iOS, and everything you delete waits 30 days in Recently Deleted in case you change your mind.

Common questions
Will it delete anything by itself?
Never. The app only suggests. Nothing is deleted until you tap Delete and say yes to iPhone's own "Allow Plainclean to delete…?" prompt. Favorites and photos you have edited are never suggested.
I deleted photos but my storage didn't change.
Deleted photos move to the Recently Deleted album in Photos (under Utilities) and stay there for 30 days. Your iPhone gets the space back when that album empties, or right away if you empty it yourself.
I use iCloud Photos. What happens?
Deleting a photo on your iPhone also removes it from iCloud and your other devices. Photos kept only in iCloud (not downloaded to the phone) are not looked at or counted.
How does it pick the best shot?
In each group of near-identical photos it keeps the sharpest one, with eyes open where there are faces. A favorite or edited photo in the group is always kept. Tap any photo to change the choice.
The app can't see my photos.
Open the iPhone Settings app → Privacy & Security → Photos → Plainclean → Full Access. With "Limited Access" the app only counts the photos you picked.
Does it upload my photos?
No. Everything happens on your iPhone, with Apple's built-in tools. There is no account. See the privacy policy.
What does it cost?
It is free. There is no weekly subscription.
