Common questions

Is there a limit on how many photos I can stamp?

No. Pick as many as you like. There is no daily limit and no subscription.

Do my photos get uploaded?

No. Stamproll works on your iPhone. Your photos, stamps and logos never leave it unless you share them yourself.

"Save to Photos" says it isn't allowed.

Open the iPhone Settings app → Apps → Stamproll → Photos and choose Add Photos Only. Stamproll only adds pictures; it never reads your library.

Where do the stamped photos go?

Into Photos, next to the originals (they keep their date). Each is a new copy named like the original with "-stamped" on the end. Your originals are never changed. To save them as files instead, tap Share or save to Files.

The stamp covers something in one photo.

Tap that photo in the batch and drag the stamp somewhere else. Only that photo changes.

How do I use my logo?

Tap Edit stamp, then add a logo from Photos or Files. A PNG with a see-through background works best. If your logo is a photo, switch on Remove the background.

Will a watermark stop people copying my photos?

Not entirely. A watermark shows whose photo it is and puts off casual copying, but AI tools can remove a small corner logo. A tiled stamp, repeated across the whole photo, is much harder to remove.

Why do some characters show as boxes?

Stamproll's fonts cover Latin letters (English, Spanish and most European languages). Other alphabets and emoji are not supported yet.
